Wenjin Wang started practicing in 2012, with expertise in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the US and directing the prosecution of foreign patent applications. Wenjin also counsels clients on pre-litigation matters and provides litigation support.
Wenjin helped developing and managing patent portfolios for clients ranging from Fortune 200 companies to start-ups. Wenjin worked closely with clients during various stages of the patent application process to ensure valuable claims were obtained. Wenjin also attended clients’ patent committee meetings regularly. During his practice, Wenjin has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in various technology fields, such as semiconductor manufacturing, data storage devices, oil and gas, alternate energy, and consumer products. As a native Chinese speaker, Wenjin advised Chinese clients on various litigation matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Wenjin was an associate at Patterson + Sheridan, LLP from 2012 to 2019. Wenjin received his J.D. from Santa Clara University with Intellectual Property Specialization with honors. Wenjin also has a B.S., cum laude, in chemical engineering from Clemson University.
Wenjin is admitted to California Bar and to practice before the USPTO.
